I like to use the spike growth/hunger of Hadar combo, really fucks them up cause they have slow from Hadar, difficult terrain from spikes, damage from both and blindness.

That’s awesome! I told my wife a couple of weeks ago how this game has some really neat details, like each companion having their own mannerisms, unique walk, things they do while standing around, and stuff like that. Now I know why. What a masterpiece this game is.

A bit late to this but can confirm sleeping with her and then killing her does not affect other romances. In my Dark Urge playthrough I did this and then got with Lae’zel later.

It already runs a lot better on Steam Deck than what it used to around launch. The series S port really helps with that, probably.

For those wondering, someone translated this from the Infernal scribed on her horn.

“My champion, the Demonsbane. My blood is her strength!”

Karlach also has Zariel tattooed on her body among other things.

It’s Infernal. The language is detailed in the adventure module Descent Into Avernus. That is to say that it’s very possible to translate it. Now as to whether OP’s translation is accurate or not, i have no idea, cause i have better things to do than read fake text out of an NPCs horn.

Please keep posting things. I haven’t sat down to translate it myself, but you can find plenty of charts online for the Infernal alphabet. There is absolutely no reason to believe this is made up when so much D&D information is out there.

Starting my 2nd playthrough with a lolth sworn drow cleric(1) bard(11) build. Going dark urge, but not evil.

I like the idea that through my character’s relationship to an evil deity, they recognize the dark urge is something wholly other than Lolth’s influence. So lawful evil in the sense that, “yeah I’ll be evil, but not because you told me to.”
