Satire? Maybe. Karma mining? Not on a platform like Lemmy. There’s no value to karma on Lemmy - no one wants to buy a Lemmy account with a bunch of Karma to start shilling from - the user base is still just too small to be worth it.
I wish this was the case but I’ve seen more than enough vehicles like this at home and down in the US in my travels into redneck areas. The vans are worse as they have more room for the errors. Usually there’s some Trump stuff too.
The federal minimum age overrides the state. Generally speaking, state laws can be stricter, but not more lenient than federal laws that cover the same subject.
There's no state that allows recreational purchase under 21. Vapes are considered a tobacco product regardless of nicotine content and also require you to be 21.
Yeah people this dumb either think it’s a good thing and revel in it or are incapable of forming the thought/reaching the level of self-awareness that allows them to think “maybe I’m stupid.”
These are the exact type of people that sit at home watching Fox News all day, every day. Getting outraged at ridiculous made up controversies and big lies that are designed to convince them that the only way to "save this country" and solve all of their obvious problems is to vote Republican. And when the Republicans get in power of all three branches, like Trump for example, now it's the "deep state" and the Democrats that are holding him back and the answer is yet again, more Republicans.
That's why I personally will never understand the people who intentionally don't vote. The dumbest, most brainwashed motherfuckers in the entire country are going to show up and help put their corrupt overlords in place, and y'all are just gonna let them pull the rope? That's something i'll never understand.
There is a german youtuber who does a “5 minute Harry Podcast” where she analyzes 5 minutes of the first Harry Potter movie each time and they are mostly half an hour to an hour long.
There’s a podcast I listen to where they talk about a random episode of Top of the Pops. Each episode of TOTP was usually around 25 minutes, each episode of that podcast averages 5 hours at this point.
I haven’t heard anything in a while (thankfully), so I just looked him up. Apparently he hasn’t been convicted yet, but isn’t allowed to leave Romania.
