How is this getting downvoted? Regardless what your opinion on the matter is, this is objectively true. Israeli forces and government have been pushing into Palestine more and more, forcibly removed Palestine people from their homes and settling people there. So, Palestine literally would not exist in a few more years.
I would say it’s valid to dislike this as an oversimplification. It’s a super complex series of unintended and intended consequences, bad ideologies, and terrible behavior generally.
They say war is a failure of imagination, and it has been increasingly hard for either of the belligerents to imagine peace.
I think the only humane view we can take as bystanders is to support asylum seekers as much as possible and condemn war crimes no matter who does them. Most people are just caught up in the gears of history. Nobody deserves this.
Perhaps they could sit down when it comes to killing innocent civvies and stick to military targets. I have always been outspoken in Palestine’s favor but lines were crossed and nobody should support it.
i am not supporting it, but i have hard times defending israel either, both sides are an absolute shit show and have their reasons, but in my eyes, the palestines have a stronger claim to the land. then again, this whole war is based on religions, where i, as an atheist, have nothing to say at all, because without religions, there wouldnt be a claimable holy city and no war whos the truthful owner of it, it would just be another land.
Not entirely, there is a lot of geopolitical power struggle there as well. Israel was born as a “western puppet” that soon grew and became “too important to abandon”. Without it, the arab nations would be more likely to ignore whatever the western powers demand, as they’d have a hard time reaching them. With Israel, it’s like a gun’s permanently pointed at them and “any funny business” against them means you also have to deal with USA
I will admit there is something very pleasing about looking at a well trimmed yard. That said, the percent of the earth’s land surface covered by manicured lawns is tiny. The ag industry would love for you to believe your lawn is the problem. It isn’t. The problem is the monoculture farm land. Acres of fields with only one type of crop. And probably other things like pollution and such. But industries love to play the “you are the problem” card to divert from themsleves.
Yes, but also: Every little bit of help, well… helps.
Don’t let those industries playing the blame game discourage you from dedicating a part of your yard to a bunch of flowers, because then the problem would get ever so slightly worse.
Yeah but you could easily have a patch of lush green grass the size of this one in your lawn and also some nice flower beds, bushes, trees and whatever else. Most people want some of that, not just a plain garden with no features. The problem isn’t peoples’ yards, it’s pesticides.
Here’s a BBC article from 2014 about how Russia is completely overstating the nazi presence in the country, they just give neonazis citizenship and Azov have 3 Nazi symbols in their logo.
Here’s another one about Right Sector, an ultranationalist alliance and one of the players in the 2013 Maiden coup.
How about this incident where thousands of Nazis demanded recognition for the Nazi aligned UPA?
Funny how all the Nazis immediately disappeared when Russia invaded though. Almost like one of those whitewashing things.
Thanks for the sources. However, these don’t really support the point. For “run by them and filled by them”, I would expect more than a right wing party barely passing the 5% and someone claiming that they can mobilize 0.1% of the population.
Zelensky clapped for SS Nazi Hunka. You can look that up and see a plethora of Canadian, American, British and Russian sources confirming it. Pictures too
Apparently some country did not pronounce it as saemen, i’m from Malaysia and everyone just say Salmon instead, so chance is if you use the intended pronunciation in your area, no one will understand what you mean. Use what your country prefer i’d say.
I use semaglutide to cure me of my snacking problem. I hardly ever snack anymore. Eat more healthy and lighter meals. It’s been a lifesaver and I don’t have to worry about being prediabetic anymore.
Same! It is a miracle drug for sure! I am diabetic and obese and it has fixed me to where I eat normally. I feel that I eat as appropriately as a person of a healthy weight which has resulted in me losing 50 lbs since January. I was a person that was at 315 lbs, so you know I did a lot extracurricular eating. When I eat out now, I either order something really small or I’m able to eat half of it and have the other half for later… It’s like I’m getting my meals 50% off, lol!
I hope that this drug can be of readily available for any obese person. There’s even evidence that it can help with other non-food related addictions too.
For me it was boredom and I felt good doing it. Semaglutide has changed that for me. Not only has it made it feel impossible to overeat, but it has enabled me to be able to avoid unnecessary eating in the first place. I still have the habit of opening the fridge and cabinets to see what’s there, but I feel a bit disgusted with the thought of eating unnecessarily. It wasn’t overnight. When I was put on the dose that I’m on now, I still tried to overeat out of habit but I ended up paying for it. I felt nauseous and was producing sour burps. Now I know when I’ve had enough. I’m saving a bunch of money on food because I eat normal portions now instead of obscene amounts and my blood sugar isn’t HFCS anymore 😆
My hope is semaglutide can be readily accessible to anyone who is obese because I feel a cure has been found. Hell, there’s evidence that it may be helpful for other non-food related addictions too!
