Huh…? Salzburg is pretty small and so is its airport. What route would you have to take that you end up in a small, barely international airport and not realize at your last transfer that you were in the wrong part of the world?
Stupid people who put literally no effort or attention to anything they do, ever. Same kind of people that don’t bother to reserve a rental car ahead of time.
It’s not like reserving a car ahead of time actually does anything, except maybe get you a discount. Not once has the rental company actually had the right car available for me. Usually I get “upgraded” to an SUV or something that costs me 1.5x in gas over the trip.
During COVID lockdowns when the US border was closed, something like 16,000 Americans attempted to go to Canada and were turned back at the border. This was in the news. So I have no trouble believing this.
Trying to get into Canada during a pandemic and booking a flight to a different country because some letters are off on the country name are highly different things though
Mod tools only became necessary when communities became larger. I’m sure you’ll be fine with what’s available when most communities start off small. Hell the Star wars prequel/sequel memes subs actually combined into one sub to keep their communities big enough to survive off Reddit and they’re doing just fine.
I appreciate your optimism, but I’ve run the numbers and that’s always a sticking point. It might be a tenth of the subscribers that move over, but it’ll be a 20th of the number of mods that move over. And I moderate a rowdy bunch!
Doesn’t abrade cable like zip ties, can reuse unlike most zip ties. Especially with fatter coils like outdoor extension cord or air compressor hose, it makes sense to have a length of paracord on the end to keep it neat and hang it. Plus you can use the paracord sleeve as a jacket for smaller cables. The real star of cable management are hook and loop wraps tbh.
For context I work on trash trucks and salt trucks. What are you doing that's making zip ties cut into wires? I need to make sure that the wire harness that runs along the body above and next to the drive shaft that will spin everything the trucks run over. If the harness is loose the cable will get caught in the debris.
If you're working in a server room with lots of wires I can see the utility of those fabric fasteners. I don't get the luxury of the wires only moving when I touch them.
