Yeah my wife saw her ring before I paid for it. But I still spent a decent amount of money for it. I sold my paid off car and financed a used car to pay for her ring. I don’t regret it one bit. We’ve been married for a decade and a half and she still adores her ring. Different people are different though, and you should know what kind of person you’re proposing to, long before you propose. My wedding ring was $30 on Amazon. LOL. It’s just a titanium jobbie that works perfectly for me.

I wanted a new car anyways, and rates on car loans are way better than rates on credit cards or jewelry loans. How is using equity from paid-off assets being bad with money? She’s happy, I’m happy, and we’re doing well.

What phone do you sugest for your grandparents?

I got a task to buy a smart phone for my grandparents, they are not techsavy but they know how to use basic functions. Iam looking for an andoid because it has language pack i need. I dont need it to have lots of functions, onley a good camera and a big screen. Bonus points if it can be flashed with some kind of simplefied...

Yo, it’s Save Our Ship, not souls. Elderly people are more likely to need to call emergency services, so having a dedicated button for it seems like a good idea.

I had a babysitter like that. One girl literally kicked my ass when I refused to go to bed, as in she kicked me right in the ass and told me more was coming if I didn’t get. Just like with Calvin, it worked. I went to bed and shut up.
