It’s crazy cause if you hear writers in tv talk about it, they’ll get contracted like a month or two before they have to finish the first batch of scripts. Writing in Hollywood is as much about learning quick writing shortcuts/tropes to move the plot along to get the product out on time as it is being able to develop a plot.
Nah, they’ll all live to 70s-80s. Cause in addition to having access to these body-destroying drugs, they also have access to cutting edge medicine, and let me tell you, medicine ain’t what it was like in the 80s. We have solved lots of the problems these people will face due to these drugs. Sure, they’ll have a worse quality of life than if they never took them but we can make sure they survive. The rich have it good coming and going.
This is kind of true. The liturgical day begins on sundown. So Christmas Day is technically after sundown on the 24th to the sundown of the 25th. Most of the day is spent on the 25th, in the christian calendar it’s all on the 25th and the confusion only arises as the calendars clash.
This post is saying that killing orphans is ok and that Batman Begins was the best Christopher Nolan Batman movie. Before I get to the orphan thing I have to say that the Dark Knight Rises was clearly the better movie and thinking anything else is just one step away from starting World War 3.
This is part of why super smash bros is so good. Playing against friends who are decent but not as good as you? Play one of your secondaries. Friends are bad but learning? Play a low tier/a character you don’t ever play. Friends are casual gamers/don’t know how to play smash? Spam b moves as a low tier. No matter how good you are you can sandbag pretty hard without your opponent feeling like you aren’t trying/not having fun.
First of all, I think this is you being an older millennial, my formative millennial memories, especially politically, mostly happened in the 2000s.
I think what you don’t even realize your comment shows is that most of these events, while they seem like paradigm-shifting events when put into historical context and tied together with the decade of history they were surrounded by don’t actually have a significant impact on the individual.
I was aware as a millennial growing up of many events like these that happened in my life. followed the news in and out. But now I couldn’t even tell you much if any of the significant details of any of them.
I noticed you didn’t include 9/11 as a forgotten event, an event that was truly significant in a way. Much in the same way, I’m sure most of gen z will be aware of those same types of events when they get older but will only really remember COVID, maybe something about Trump too.
