ExLisper,

And the inseminated cows goes “o fuck, I’m late again! I can’t go thought this again. my career will go to shit”.

ExLisper,

It’s a matter of taste.

ExLisper,

Sorry, all judgements are final. No returns or appeals.

ExLisper,

What? You’re confused. I’m saying he’s a Finn. The other guy says he’s Swedish.

ExLisper,

This is exactly what will not happen. They clearly talking about different certificate. Read the article.

ExLisper,

No, I just made it myself. It’s brand new and shiny.

ExLisper,

There were multiple reports about sleazy companies reaching out to developers of popular apps and Chrome addons and offering them money for their accounts. The money is really good but there’s still a lot of devs that can say ‘no’. They will just use to track some people, it’s not a completely new business that will grow and earn them money like Instagram or something.

ExLisper,

Give credit where credit is due: US managed to create extremely stable system. So stable it took a bloody war to alter it the only time it was done. So stable it’s now dysfunctional and impossible to fix. So stable it will still be there even after the country dissolves into a dictatorship.

ExLisper,

Yep, that’s the bug I’m talking about. I had it and I’m not using GrapheneOS so for me the app was ‘read only’ and I stopped using it. And it was exclusive to Jerboa for me, all the other apps work fine.

ExLisper,

You commenting here proves you’re not using Jerboa. Or was the keyboard bug finally fixed?

ExLisper,

Really? Police in US doesn’t actively investigate crimes any more? I remember from The Wire that they used observe places where they knew crime is likely to happen. Crazy that they stopped.

ExLisper, (edited )

Yeah, it’s shameful that as society we learned to be compassionate to other disabled people but still treat the obese like it’s their own fault.

ExLisper,

The problem with SpaceVim is that it offers a lot of toggles that are easy to switch but there are no examples for more ‘custom’ config and I struggled to figure it out. There’s a lot of examples and guides for nvim so it was easier. I don’t know, maybe it was just me but with SpaceVim I also didn’t really see what’s possible. With nvim I just found long lists of useful plugins that you can add one by one.

As for the future I don’t really worry that there will be next thing after neovim. I didn’t write any custom scripts for it, all I have is just plugins with mostly default settings. It would take me a day to switch to another tool witch is not a big issue.

I think starting with Vim is a good idea. You can easily add plugins one by one when you will see the need for them.

ExLisper,

Why being in a simulation is unlikely? How do you estimate the probability of that?

ExLisper,

I think it’s just like soy sauce, only fishy.

ExLisper,

I torrented it. It’s a Spanish production that I thin was available on movistar+ platform. Hard to find.

ExLisper,

Sure, activity in the repo and new versions don’t prove the project isn’t abandoned… Maybe you just don’t know what abandonwere means?

ExLisper,

Yet no known active exploits use this insecure architecture to cause actual harm. It’s just another FUD.

ExLisper,

Those are all good, fun movies but Marty slowly fading away while playing guitar is not really ‘science’.

ExLisper,

Started watching it but it was soooo slow. Is it a perfect loop?

Disney is gouging customers with a near doubling of subscription costs. (sh.itjust.works)

Disney is raking its customers over the coals with a 75% price hike for their annual subscription (originally $80.) People wonder why piracy is on the rise.Multiple commenters are saying I’m off base about the 75% price increase. My payment less than a year ago was $79.99. Here’s the proof.

ExLisper,

No, other services have some good stuff. Disney+ is only a good option if you have kids and you don’t want them to be very smart when then grow up.

ExLisper,

I definitely include all star wars and marvel content in the shit Disney content category.

ExLisper,

IMHO admiring Disney is one of the most cringe things an adult can do. It’s even worse than admiring apple because apple does toys for adults but to love Disney one has to be brainwashed as a child and never manage to get out of it. Fortunately I grew up in a communist country so I didn’t see any Disney as a child and when I finally did I was like ‘meh’. People follow Disney and Marvel because the content is simple and there’s a lot of it so there’s always something to consume. It’s like McDonalds: there’s no real value in it but it fills in the void inside you. The fact that Disney and Marvel have such a huge following show how empty our society had become. People don’t think any more, they just consume.

ExLisper,

What me being in a bubble has to do with anything? I know there are people who like this shit. I personally know people who absolutely love this shit. Doesn’t make it any less shitty.

Hyprland is a toxic community (drewdevault.com)

Hyprland is an open source Wayland compositor based on wlroots, a project I started back in 2017 to make it easier to build good Wayland compositors. It’s a project which is loved by its users for its emphasis on customization and “eye candy” – beautiful graphics and animations, each configuration tailored to the unique...

ExLisper,

Who cares about the community? If it’s useful and works I will use it. It’s not like I’m paying for it. If the community is toxic people will not contribute to the project. If they don’t need contributors they can do whatever they like.
