I want a cancer ray for people I don’t like

Tbf I stole the idea from that clip from the Harley Quinn TV show (I think that’s what it was at least)

I still find it insane that babies developed compressing skulls before their mothers developed wider pelvic bones

Nasty. How sturdy are infant bones? To they break easily? What’s the healing process?

IDK if it’s that or just the fact that there’s both a lot of us and a great sense of nationalism instilled in us from a very young age. I’ve been to Mt. Rushmore twice. Only recently did I learn about how it was a sacred site to the native people that we promised to leave alone, before stealing it and blowing it to hell.

What I’m getting at is that we’re taught that America is the greatest nation on the planet, and we’re encouraged to be loud about that statement. So when a certain group of people in the government who are also very loud about their beliefs start saying some things that might sound completely bonkers to a foreigner, a lot of people find themselves agreeing purely because they like the attitude of the people talking.

No but that movie actually sounds interesting enough to look at.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was based on a book of the same name, released in 2012, and actually had a hollywood-level budget.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Except it isn’t made up, and it’s a phenomenal movie.

Not only that, but Australia’s actual ballot is leagues better, too. Ranked ballots are a great way to weaken (unfortunately not eliminate) the two party system, which is unfortunately also the reason the United States will never see anything like it. (At least not in the foreseeable future.)

I think about this sometimes I could go to school and build a career for myself, or I could make way twice the money in half the time doing shit like this.

Sometimes I hate that I have a sense of guilt. Life would be so much easier if I were a psychopath

Because mean is the most common form of average. But, for example, when referring to salaries, the words median and average are often used interchangeably.

The word average can technically refer to arithmetic mean, median, mode, or range. That’s why you were probably taught them at the same time. That’s also why tests like the ACT tend to have a * at the top that says something along the lines of “Unless otherwise stated, the word average indicates arithmetic mean.”

What are some food items that cost less than what they "should"?

Bananas are ridiculously cheap even up here in Canada, and they aren’t grown anywhere near here. Yet a banana can grow, be harvested, be shipped, be stocked, and then be purchased by me for less than it’d cost to mail a letter across town. (Well, if I could buy a single banana maybe…or maybe that’s not the best...

“This Jacobo, he’s making us pay minimum wages!.. and that’s not all, he’s taking our unused land and giving it back to the people! Does that sound familiar?”

My grandpa used to keep cheap disposable matchbooks with him to light his pipe, the matches inside were basically paper, and I could never figure out how he lit them because every time I tried they would break or bend.

Can’t be having the government spending all our money!.

Oh? What’s that? Lockheed Martin designed a new jet? We’ll take 400 of them.

Do want the guy using our taxes to bomb Muslims back to the stone age or the guy who will use our taxes to bomb Muslims back to the stone age and dismantle the government.

Make your choice, kids!
