@Kolanaki@yiffit.net

I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.

Currently on Earth for 8 years ensuring steps to unite humanity and usher us into the galactic civilization just so I can see my boyfriend again.

Here in at least the state of California (not sure if this is country wide) those bank “convenience” fees are limited to no more than $1.50 by law.

Do we have fuses that can safely dissipate like 350Megajoules? I don’t remember which specific episode it was, but I remember on DS9 they were going to overload the warpcore to stop something and someone said the only system on the station capable of absorbing that much raw electrical energy was the shield system, since that’s literally what it is; a giant fuse.

Judging from what things look like when they open up the walls, they could just be telling the system to use a specific circuit path. It looks like everything is just a bunch of blocks or cards with super dense computer chips on them and half the repairs we ever see are just these being unslotted and replaced. The other half being waving fake tools around.

I may look like a big ball of bread dough. But on the inside, I am full of strawberry jam and crunchy white chocolate.

The translator is able to translate the words themselves, but not the context needed to actually understand the translated phrases.

I find it no different than the translation weirdness in the Voyager episode “Nemesis” where the people are understandable, but all the words they choose are just slightly off of what’s normally spoken in English. Like… Nemesis instead of enemy. Glimpses instead of eyes. Trunks instead of woods. Why would the translator use those words instead of more common words that mean the same thing?

“I’VE GOT A MANGINA!”

Pretty much all the things I am subscribed to make 20-45 minute videos and I watch them like any other TV show of the same length.

The things I throw on just to have something in the background are way longer. 4 hour stream VODs. 10 hours of music. 24/7 AI generated bullshit.

I postulate that if Odo was better able to mimic humanoids, he would just be disguised as Morn or Rom all the time to fuck with Quark.

They had to keep things fair for the Romulans. It’s not like cloaked ships have ever gone undetected by Starfleet vessels. They always see tachyons or someshit.

The last one I had was the original Motorola Razr and it was the second cell phone I ever had. My first phone was actually a smartish phone; my first cell was a Danger Hiptop (Sidekick). It was almost exactly like a modern smartphone; internet connected and used apps. But was around before the iPhone and did not have a touch screen. Only reason it wasn’t also my last “dumb” phone was because my original broke long after they stopped selling them. Just to put in perspective how long I had these: my next phone after the Razr and first actual smartphone was a Nexus 4.

“There are four lights!”

“I’m sorry, that is incorrect. I’m afraid you’ve failed your driver’s test and will not be issued a license to operate a motor vehicle at this time.”

Take a happy song and make it sad by slowing it down. Never mind that the lyrics are still positive and happy.

I’ll stop the world… And melt with you…

You know it’s getting better… All… The… Time…

I am straight up the Dominion. I have to really keep at raising the cap for my army because I’m going to be pumping out attack vessels non-stop to overwhelm the galaxy with forces.

Although I also like the Ferenghi method of just buying everyone.

It’s too bad I just have the base game cuz I’d love to try doing what I did back in Spore and just blow up every planet that isn’t mine.

I don’t like the sound of my butthole being sealed by bolts. It doesn’t sound fun; it sounds painful.

Uses variable names like “INTEGER” and “STRING”

That is an insult to Zorg.

Zorg is twice the villain that Musk will ever be.

Is this an intentional Lower Decks reference or just a happy little coincidence? 🤔

Was there a behind the scenes reason why she left the show or was it purely just how the plot was written?

My true self seems to only exist on the internet. I want to be me in meat space, too, but I just lock up most of the time and become completely non-verbal all the while I am aware of it and screaming inside my head to just do this, or say that the way I would on a comment or a chat room.

Self-control? No… This is mental illness. And it sucks. :(

One of the earliest jokes we have translated is Sumerian, and nobody has been able to really discern the meaning of it, or why it’s funny.

“A dog walked into a tavern and said, ‘I can’t see a thing. I’ll open this one.’”
