It’s fake, Its a crooked depiction of a toxic relationship which is fucked up, I know, but why would a guy need to be reminded to clean up, or care for their children?

I see everyone is quick to jump on the domestic abuse hate train, but if you are a guy and not doing these things in a relationship you are just as fucked up as this imaginary psycho partner.

It’s a made up word for fossil-fuel execs.

I would anytime put up a wind turbine in my yard and enjoy the free energy then complain about how it looks like.

In fact I am planning to power my side building/garage, utility rooms, freezer box and yard lights (basically everything except my house) by wind power. Domestic wind turbines are super cool and you can even make one yourself or just get a smaller one with super easy installation.

IR blaster for smartphones. I still have one on mine and I can use it for tons of stuff, not just as a TV remote.

I even worked for a company who made lots of IR based products (taps/faucets, accessibility stuff) and it was amazing how many people had to buy the dedicated remotes for these products for extra money.

When I asked them if their phone has an IR blaster, so they could just download a free app and use it instead. “I have an iPhone” was the most common answer.

Should I wait for the "Snyder cut" (director's cut) of Rebel Moon?

Hearing the movie is getting bad reviews. But Snyder says the director’s cut will be a completely different movie with a different vision. I mean it’s a movie. Who knows how you will enjoy it in the first place and who knows how a future version of the movie will turn out compared to the original?

Unless it’s an obvious dumpster fire with 0% reviews go and see it for yourself and form your own opinion.

I don’t think the AI everyone is so buzzed about today is really a true AI. As someone summed it up: it’s more like a great autocomplete feature but it’s not great at understanding things.

It will be great to replace Siri and the Google assistant but not at giving people professional advice by a long shot.

It’s an oversimplified statement from someone (sorry I don’t have the source) and I’m not exactly an AI expert but my understanding is the current commercial AI products are nowhere near the “think and judge like a human” definition. They can scrape the internet for information and use it to react to prompts and can do a fantastic job to imitate humans, but the technology is simply not there.
