I block ads as much as possible, which is great for ensuring I see mostly what I want to see via searching or whatever feeds I follow, but it turns out a lot of my feeds are light on general media coverage like books/movies/music/etc....
apples vision pro reportedly has it nailed down. meta occulus has been hacked where its reasonably good. in a controlled lab setting with substantial training i’ve read of desktop computers doing ok at it with dedicated hardware etc.
what hardware/software/settings/training are you hoping for?
im really surprised there isnt a hat form factor smart device. imagine a baseball cap with a HUD display mounted upside down in the brim, plenty of room for batteries and weight balanced.
maybe pick a corporate sponsor/vendor you’d like to see and check out what events they have coming up? you would need to narrow down your scope to something more reasonably limited. siggraph? E3? IEEE?
