I’ve got a waffle iron for that!

Its a bit broken, though. No heat, it’s made of wood, and it has a large blade that falls down at like… The drop of a hat. Or lever…

This is one of the many reasons why I say Tony Stark is a bigger villain to the universe than Thanos.

A sudden LACK of mouths is much more favorable than suddenly DOUBLING them.

I order to keep his family alive, he just brings them all back, many years out of place in a universe completely and totally unprepared for their arrival. Not to mention all the people who died AFTER the snap, as a direct result of the snap, will still be dead.

Tony stark is supposed to be smart. So he should know the consequences of his action, and completely disregards it.

And the series pretends he did the universe a favor.

Fuck Tony stark.

@lemmyshitpost went on Reddit 🤢 for a second because they have a better ham radio community, god is that place fucked. Let’s start the fun again of trying to destroy it.

A few things: if all lemmy worked in unison, I doubt the users could legally “destroy reddit”

If you want to make a community on lemmy, it’s fairly straightforward, and if you have a few people you can gather to boost posts for a bit, you can launch your community pretty well.

There’s a few star trek communities, one of which popped up due to moderator issues. The new sub had 3 people originally, but within a few days had over 1k subs from those few people boosting their community. I’d LOVE to see a ham community here. I’m super super amateur, and mostly it’s just a fascination with all things electronic and radio, but still.

And finally, reddit occupies a free space in your mind when you talk shit about them constantly. We know they suck, that’s why a lot of us are here. You are preaching to the proverbial choir.

That said, fuck reddit, fuck spez, quality shit post indeed!

Hi, I was an under 25 that needed Healthcare, and wanted a formal education.

I personally am of the belief that one has a duty to disobey any illegal order, and since this fits the bill,a sizeable number would disobey on that premise alone.

But I also know that’s not likely what does it, but benefits and pay.

I personally know several people who honestly think that “THREE PERCENT!” of the population could honestly stand against their parent country in modern day. And of course, they hold that belief purely from their “only 3% fought the British” and think that a colonial territory in 1776 would somehow translate to home country rebellion in 2024.

Could they do damage and be a nuisance, and create generational issues? Absolutely. Succeed and establish themselves as a respected sovereign nation, or conquer the federal government? Anyone who honestly thinks that’s feasible without the federal government saying “eh, whatever I don’t really care” is fooling themselves.

My time in the navy was more than enough to convince me that no state could ever pull that off, just on Naval power alone. Largest navy, 2nd largest air force, marines technically part of it (don’t ever tell them that unless you have their favorite flavor of crayon as an apology) and since the federal government knows literally every single thing about their off/Def capabilities are, it would be over before my hot chocolate gets cold.

Locally it’s become something of a… Idk what to even call it.

So we have a bunch of dudebros who have giant pickups with various combinations of lift kits, off-road tires, light bars (some with the protective plastic still hanging off) , “rolling coal” , and oversized exhaust mods. And obviously a good half of them have some form of truck nutz.

They gather every Thurs-sun night in a shopping center parking lot, never turn their engines or lights off, and often get into “loudness contests” to see who’s engine revs louder. They started drag racing behind the strip mall and only stopped when one dumbass crashed into a car dealership next door.

I started calling it the “tiny penis brigade” but apparently other people have started calling them the “tiny penis parade”.

I found this out when one night I was picking up some groceries and all the trucks were about 5 parking sections over, and their usual spot had a giant sign hanging from the light post “TINY PENIS PARADE PARKING ONLY, ALL OTHER WILL BE REVVED AT”

My truck has been mocked as I drive past because it’s “tiny” and “looks like shit”. Thank you for reminding me im making good financial choices by continuing to drive a functioning work vehicle that isn’t a hazard to everyone else on or near the road instead of buying a brand new oversized status symbol I can’t afford that statistically kills more people than sharks, lightning, and tipping vending machines combined.

My mother STILL believes that “partial birth abortion” is a thing. Like, at one point she literally believed doctors would use a reflex-testing mallet to smash in a baby’s skull as it was being born. I heard these words come out of her mouth when I was a child.

Now she just thinks they use a surgical hose to suck the brain out as it’s coming out.

My mother in law also threatened to not come to the wedding because I made a pro-choice post on social media. It was literally my only post of the year, because I only keep the account for messaging family. She insisted I’m a baby killer. She also thinks someday she and her family will be dragged out in the street and executed for being christian.

I started asking for examples of when that happened.

It’s funny how angry people get when you ask them for proof of their ridiculous claim. Especially when they start insisting they have the proof, they just don’t feel like sharing “because of your attitude” and when it gets to that point I just openly start laughing at them.

I once worked for a city school processing their old books, and found a few of these scattered in books from the 1950s that had been in storage. Last year issued stamp was in the 60s, no idea if they were actually used after that.

I also have seen this scribbled in the margins on my niece’s homework.

“Cool S” knows no time limitations.

Okay but for real that game gave young me so many issues… Loved it though. I had the cheats written down on the back.

Shadows of the empire, too. But I did love to play the train mission for some reason. Never did finish the game… Even with the debug menu to help me…

A couple minor changes to this one:

Obrien: gets imprisoned and tortured while returning cart, gets dumped next to the corral for pickup

Garak: convinces someone else to return the cart. They are happy to do so for such a charming gentleman. Merely a simple tailor, of course.

Sometimes it is effective. Just ask everyone who salivated over the PATRIOT act.

Now whether is justified is an entirely different story.

It’s never a good idea to pull out a stabbing object, for the reason you mentioned, and the parts inside might be stemming blood flow. Even if you cut the arrow to pull it through neatly it wouldn’t make a difference unless you were at a vet clinic that specializes in birds.

Well that depends. Are you going to go on a rampage indiscriminately, or discriminately?

Because I will be damned before I’ll enable a racist murderer!

It’s an educational program to show how rampant greed and pettiness leads to societal and ecological collapse as those who have stomp on those who have-not, in order to grab everything they can before they blink out of existence from their short, meaningless lives.

A educational program for children.

“I have to sort my books!’ she cried,

With self-indulgent glee;

With senseless, narcissistic pride:

‘I’m just so OCD!’

‘How random, guys!’ I smiled and said,

Then left without a peep -

And washed my hands until they bled,

And cried myself to sleep.”

Upside of a small community: more interaction between the users that do comment.

Downside of a small community: if someone’s a dick, you can’t really completely get away from them.

But the question is, can you handle one dick, or do you prefer dealing with hundreds?
