What is your unpopular flim opinion

I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds

Varyk,

What do you mean? There are so many styles of animation, you mean like Pixar movies all look the same?

Varyk, (edited )

Okay, so not every movie, just some recent popular movies from the same year from two of the largest studios with personnel and historical ties, and I guess illumination is also 3d animation if a different character style.

I understand the gripe, but that’s a very small section of animation.

Varyk,

Slightly annoyed and then I’d move. I live moving and I travel light so it wouldn’t be a huge inconvenience.

But I agree that it is terrifying and awful for people who prefer to put down roots or have their lifestyle tied up in being public figures.

Varyk, (edited )

Has nothing to do with OPs question or my answer, but to address a single tangent you’ve offered, yes, people are complex.

Varyk,

Okay, very cool. Thanks, he sounds worth looking into

Varyk,

It’s a f****** feature, not a bug, you twat cock. Hm. Twat cock’s fine.

Murreh crizz-mats

Varyk, (edited )

I assume there is, but the asterisks make me laugh every time, like when Aubrey plaza has her mouth blanked out every time she swears at Scott Pilgrim

Varyk,

Mom and Dad Save the World and then finding out that Jeffrey Jones is a child molester.

Varyk,

I feel like the dad is describing exactly how I color tabbed my folders.

Maybe there was some kind of standard back in the day?

Varyk, (edited )

Red as shit. Science is blue and English is green, too, I’m pretty certain this is how I organized my school subjects

Varyk,

Oh science being green rings a bell.

Varyk,

That dad is correct. History is yellow

Varyk,

I know I want some of them and I don’t have infinite apps, so whichever one’s irritate me after a few notifications I long press and disable that notification.

After a few weeks or so you just get the notification you care about

Varyk,

I joined a company, was given part ownership, could not believe how much money was wasted by the other owners behind the curtain, proposed reforms that were ignored, set up a presentation showing that we could all retire in 4 years on interest if we invested excess profits, nobody was interested. They just wanted to expand.

The other owners were taking minimum to zero salary, saying that their stakes would pay off soon after they expanded.

I insisted on receiving full salary since I was working and again explained that we could all start receiving interest payments right away if we invested this year’s profits. Ignored.

After two years of full salary and basically running the company, warning the other owners I would leave if nothing changed and they kept investing capital into unnecessary expansions for a year, I gave two months notice, the other owners acted surprised, I trained a few people to do my job, cashed out my ownership, left the company, cut ties, haven’t looked back in years .

Just found out a couple weeks ago that the company collapsed almost immediately after I left.

Big ol’ grin on my face all that day.

Varyk,

Hahaha, damn right!

Varyk,

Exactly, they’re sky sponges, we’ve mixed up where the rain and clouds go and now it’s some odd tradition to walk around in water when the clouds are right there, RIGHT there.

Write your local congressman

Show them how useful clouds can be

Varyk,

I totally agree. corrolarily, I’m always thinking we should put the clouds under the rain, to use them as umbrellas, rather than over the rain because then the rain falls on us
