My toaster oven’s manual says I have to power it down, clean out the crumb tray, and unplug it after every use or risk starting a fire. After every use. That’s literally what it says. This is what you get when you give the lawyers free rein over the technical writing. It’s insanity.

Yeah I didn’t really understand hangovers until I slowed my drinking down to reasonable levels, and then to barely at all. Now it’s not so much a hangover, but I notice I’m not really 100% percent for a couple of days after some drinks.

Yup, I remember that interview. It was about pirates providing translations for the pirated games, that weren’t included by their creators.

Fair pricing is also part of that. Like when Netflix first came out, even with its pretty restricted catalogue, it was a good deal at the time.

Disney especially has all but totally captured their target demographics, and not many working parents are likely to put the time into setting up a Plex and torrenting movies for their kid(s). Sadly, it’s easier to shell over an unreasonably large fee, and let their kids have at it.
