rockSlayer,

2039 is the half-life of the boomer generation, assuming all of them were born in 1964 and will live exactly 75 years

rockSlayer,

The US Merchant Marines were sinking German U-boats nearly a year before the US declared war.

rockSlayer,

Start doing morning stretches, drink more water, and avoid caffeine after 5pm

rockSlayer,

My trick is to fold the flap over top the match and lightly squeeze.

rockSlayer,

M&Ms confuse the void because they’re small and have writing on it, which is an obvious sign of importance

rockSlayer,

fifth panel: Have fun doing the work of 3 people

rockSlayer,

I feel like people forget that the conditions are like that for everyone and not just themselves, so they think it’s ok to mill around the scene while waiting for emergency services. It’s a terrible idea to do so, and it’s absolutely safer in the car. If for one reason or another you have to exit the vehicle, get far away from the scene; like at least across the ditch or far into someone’s lawn

rockSlayer,

Just a tip, if you’re ever caught in a situation like this, don’t chase after or cling to your car, and get the fuck out of the street.

rockSlayer,

is there more info about this as troop camo? Admittedly I didn’t look very hard, but the only things I could find were references to naval ships and planes.

rockSlayer,

I don’t have a lot of sympathy for the Southern Confederacy. They left the union because they wanted to expand the enslavement of people. That’s not just the leaders either, soldiers in the Confederacy made it crystal clear in their diaries and letters that they would rather die than be equal with a black person. They fired first, and they had no right to leave the union under any circumstances. They were traitors.

rockSlayer,

Too bad that traitor rag ruins a beautiful red dress

rockSlayer,

Hold up, I specifically called dibs on the prime rib. That means you forfeit your claim to the ny strip.

rockSlayer,

Definitely. At least the scrambled eggs look like they were cooked from a carton of egg yolk

rockSlayer,

It’s easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism.

rockSlayer,

When the next neighborhood kitty comes by, keep the Benadryl by the door

rockSlayer,

In all honesty, this is a technique that works. It won’t inflate the tire properly, it’s intended for situations like getting tires fitted to tractor rims, and it doesn’t use gasoline or oil. The main problems were the fact that they used oil, and a whole quart of it at that

rockSlayer,

Now it makes sense! I was way overthinking it

rockSlayer,

Can someone explain this one to me? Brain too smooth

rockSlayer, (edited )

Personally I’m not a fan of how the semicircles are different sizes, otherwise this is a great design!

rockSlayer,

Local government is a good place to implement change. It’s not as difficult for a city to say that they’re going to build non-market housing, or ban r1 zoning, or removing minimum parking requirements, or reducing police funding, etc. Extragovernmental work is just as important as leftists in government. This meme is a bit too reactionary towards people on the inside fighting for change.

The Skeleton Dance will be entering public domain next year. Yea, that one. Other ones of note:

  • The original depiction of Popeye
  • farewell to Arms
rockSlayer,

Inb4 the British museum claims that Greece can’t take care of the artifacts
