What’s your absolute must needs? I’m on iOS but Voyager (android as well) has been my top choice for a while now even beating out apps I’ve paid lifetime subscriptions for because the developers disappeared or have been extremely quiet. I like Thunder a lot too. It’s missing key features I like in Voyager but I love its design and how smooth it is.

Found the newb.

Logs are getting spammed with stacktraces "WARN Error encountered while processing the incoming HTTP request: lemmy_server::root_span_builder: Unknown:"

My lemmy-ui container is spiking cpu usage and looking into the logs the following shows up (900.000 lines in total). Any ideas what the issue could be? I’m on 0.19.1, everything seems to be working fine aside from the logs filling up and the usage piking sometimes....

Soylent is great. I don’t use it on the regular but it works for all the things you’d want one to work for. 400 calories downed quick and satiates for about 3 hours.

The majority are on TikTok, instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X. Probably Tinder and Hinge after those.

Lemmy instance which has not defederated with any other instance.

Hi everyone. I have found many ghost comments in posts. Like one of the posts has 300+ upvotes and 28 comments but when I opened it, there were no comments. I tried different Lemmy apps and it’s the same in all of them. Which leads me to believe that it has something to do with defederation done by Lemmy.ml. Which instance has...

Supposedly there’s still issues federating even on the latest. I’ve been restarting mine every 8 hours or so just in case.

There’s no shadow bans. It’s possible that you’re interacting with an instance that has defederated from your home instance or vice versa. You won’t be told this. Everything just appears empty. Same if you’re banned from a community/instance. You won’t be told this unless the moderators message you.

Some apps are a community effort with multiple contributors. Voyager is one of those. This may have been better asked in no stupid questions. Why would you not want the latest bug fixes and features immediately after they’ve been approved?
