Huh, that’s a pretty good description. I’ve never heard the term before, so I’ll need to do some more research before I know if it fits. But even if it’s a dead end, that’s an interesting enough topic that it’s worth delving into anyway.
I’ve struggled with appetite issues for a while now and my go-to whenever I can’t get myself to eat regular food is nutritional drinks like Soylent, Boost etc. Enough calories to replace a meal and you won’t miss out on nutrients.
Name brand ones are unfortunately super expensive so I usually stick to the Kroger Fortify+. I know you said flavor isn’t a priority, but avoid vanilla. It’s wretched. Chocolate is the one that’s most palatable.
Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup has a similar feel to it. It’s a lot more involved if you want way more variables to play with. There’s and Android port from PC that takes some getting used to, but is pretty fun to play over and over.
I played this a bit on mobile and really enjoyed it, not sure why I stopped in retrospect, I was never able to beat it even once. Another one where dying isn’t a big deal cause replaying is part of the fun. Been thinking of checking it out on PC but just never got around to it
Hit me up if you ever need any tips. I’m not the best out there, but I’ve won with all 5 classes. Currently working on winning with all 9 challenges on.
First things first, do you get enough sleep at night?
I work a desk job and do consistently get pretty drowsy around 2pm. I find that eating a lighter lunch and moving around keeps me awake. Take a walk around the building or something, it's bad for you to sit all day long anyways. I drink an energy drink every day as soon as I get in but I don't know what effect, if any, it has on my afternoon drowsiness.
Probably not… I’ve always heard people get 8 hours of sleep when it’s dark, but my whole life I’ve always had broken sleep that doesn’t return to sleep after waking back up, and after years of being unable to sleep consistently at some point I changed approach and just sleep whatever time I get tired. It slightly improved my physical and mental health at the time but my overall tiredness never really reduced, I just don’t stare at the ceiling waiting for sleep anymore. The times I get the longest sleep tend to be when the sun is up, which is a disaster for being on-call during daylight business hours.

I wear a basic watch so that I can keep track of the time without opening up my phone all the time. I discovered that when I wore a smart watch I was constantly peaking at my notifications and paying less than quality attention to my family. When I gave up the smart watch I was less distracted but still found myself wasting time when all I intended to do was check the time
I like to wear a smart watch that looks like a regular watch. I have a Withings. It does basic notifications, has the usual health functionality such as heart rate, workouts etc. But the battery lasts a few weeks between charges.
I’m using Huawei gt2 pro watch, its great. 2 weeks battery life, it can measure your sleep, stress, hearth rate, steps etc and tell time obviously. Only problem I have is in order to connect watch to my phone I need to use Huawei health apk (its not on play store anymore all thanks to USA) and sign in with Huawei id. But I also like regular watches
