I have an escape plug in hybrid. I get about 40 miles all electric, and about 500 miles on gas. I just took a camping trip where I towed a trailer, so my average mpg is down to about 50. Normally it rides around 70-80, since most days I drive less than 40 miles.
I like my fuel efficiency, and that I can plug it in to charge. I wish I had a little more cargo space, since I’m just shy of “project” capacity, and more “flat pack furniture”. I dislike that the towing capacity is low, since the hybrid drivetrain is more complex, and the car just weighs more, so I can only tow about 1500 lbs, which limits your choices for campers and such.
I originally started the buying process because I needed a new car, and I had a three hour round trip commute. Now I’m working from home, and it’s even better because I basically never use gas, but haven’t sacrificed range. Only my poor, beleaguered bank account. Which I don’t regret.
Almost the same, but the RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid. 50mi electric range, AWD, we almost never have to fill it and there’s free slow chargers in our town!
Low blood pressure, low blood sugar, maybe dehydration? When you miss out on sleep, are you in bed trying to sleep and unable? I know for me, low blood sugar will give me headaches, and if I’m awake longer with less sleep my body has expended more energy than normal and needs that extra fuel to function properly. I always wake up starving if I was up late without eating later. When you sleep, your body, obviously uses less stored nutrients to operate. If you’re not changing your routine with eating and drinking and you miss out on sleep, you may need water/food. Or it could be stress from lack of sleep tensing you up or you’re sleeping at a weird angle because your schedule is off and your body didn’t use it’s muscle memory and get you into a better position.
Basically, you’re going to want to pay attention to the things you’re doing (or not doing) besides losing sleep. Eating/drinking, physical exertion, how does the rest of your body feel when you wake up?
Thanks for the tips. I think I have lower blood pressure in general, and I get a lot of neck pain. My sleeping position is awkward and I can’t really get to sleep without being in a fetal position, and lying on my left side because lying the other way hurts my neck. That could have something to do with it, I’m not sure.
I would definitely die sooner than a lot of people because of my mechanical heart valve. The blood thinners and needing to make sure my blood isn’t too thin or thick would be harder since I’ve been getting it checked for over a decade and I’ve never seen them use a non-electric method of testing.
Honestly not much. I interacted a lot more with people on squabbles before that went to shit, but now I am a bit like the friendly pink blob that gets punched back into its box and swears to never come out again…
Every now and then a post with a question like this pops up on lemmy and I wonder if the Sync company has anything to do with it, because Sync always gets to be the most mentioned answer. It is beyond me why anyone would use an app that pushes ads on you while browsing content from a website that doesn’t have any…
ljdawson and rmayayo did great work on their apps, and I purchased both of their apps.
Making software is not easy. I’m a software developer, too. I’m very happy that there is a paid version without ads, I definitely wouldn’t use them if I had to use the version with ads.
In my experience, they both provide superior experiences that are both familiar to people and well integrated into Android, especially Sync. Boost has more features however.
If you’re looking for a FOSS app, Connect is the next best thing IMO.
I’m currently using the free version. I had the paid version for Reddit, but just haven’t purchased the Lemmy version yet.
The ads are really unintrusive though. I think it’s one ad every time you reload the feed, about four posts down or so. After that, I think there’s no more ads. It’s extremely minor, hence why I haven’t really felt like I needed to get around to purchasing it.
No we won’t because soon resources will ends and the basic, like food, is already poisoned. We burned the candle very fast in this last hundred years, not very much progress that entertanament, we should have moon colonies at this point but we aren’t even closer to the idea. I think human race will ends in next 200 years.
