I might try killing him tonight to see if that works. I found the gloves of hill giant strength, so I want to switch to strength based weapons, but I’m stuck with these finesse weapons.
Yeah the first 10 hours it’s like nice and all. After 80 hours you just wanna drown her in this damn river. Also the way the music swells everytime you kill an enemy…
I think I resolved something like this by respeccing the character. Talk to withers and change the class. Not very sure about this, but I do recall how annoying it was. Good luck!
Dang, I did reclass and it didn’t fix it. Although I went from bard/paladin to paladin/bard. Do I need to pick a completely different class? That would be annoying, since my bard has like 50 spells and actions on the context menu that I just got all set up again.
I’m pretty sure it’s the strongest build in the game. Monk/rogue probably has better damage output and definitely has greater movement, but none of the utility. There’s nothing that any companion can do, that my bard can’t do as well, or better. AOE damage was one area he was lacking, but I picked up a couple of different spells when I reclassed and he has that covered now too. I was thinking about doing a playthrough using this build without any companions as durge.
Edit: one thing he is missing is spell sculpting for avoiding friendly fire with AOE spells. The wizard is still best in that area.
Dunno. Trying casting remove curse on the character and see what happens. That’s how it works on the handful of other cursed weapons and armor I’ve seen in game. The game is so complex that I’d never say with confidence that there isn’t some way to end up with a curse in some questline I didn’t pursue. :)
That is to say that it’s very possible to translate it. Now as to whether OP’s translation is accurate or not, i have no idea, cause i have better things to do than read fake text out of an NPCs horn.
You can waste my time by posting here, I’ve seen many of your contributions and I greatly appreciate your efforts. I don’t usually say anything though. That other guy can fuck off.
A lot of people have been hyper critical about the content people have been posting, and even more upset when it’s one person posting a lot. I don’t know where they expect to get content from.
Karlach, all the way. And not just because she’s a 7ft tall beast of a woman with a machine for a heart who “Winks at her foes as she slays them”, but because her personality is very close to my wife’s.
Also, there is a specific scream that Karlach does when enraged that flips all my switches.
Fun fact, my wife found out I liked it. And she ssid “I bet I could do that”. She didn’t get it quite right the first time, but she nailed it the second time. Which just flipped those switches even harder.
I reloaded a save I had from within the fight. I can’t get those spoiler tags to work, so I can’t get into more details without revealing the finale, but you definitely don’t have to repeat the whole fight. You just need to get to a point before it jumps into the epilogue to trigger it.
Funny, the Bard was easily the MVP in my playthrough. Bardic Inspiration makes a huge difference for any skill check in dialogue and in combat they dominated the battlefield with Cutting Words to make enemies miss or fail crucial attacks or saving throws, crowd control spells like Hypnotic Pattern and Confusion and Counterspell from Magical Secrets.
