GreenMario, in You can never have too many cats

Actually yes. Yes you can.

A friend of mine’s mom was a hoarder of cats. Had over 10 of em. You could smell em from the curb in front of the house.

xusontha,

10 is more than too many, I’ll admit

Ilflish, in "Profitable Strategy" by Work Chronicles

“We made 1 billion in profit!”

“However we updated our estimates half way through the year to match our early growth and we did not meet our expectations”

“We’ll have to let you go”

bitsplease, in Legacy by HannahHillam

Practically everyone who uses the internet recognizes her work - As a legacy, that’s pretty fucking good if you ask me

Crul, in WooOoOoooo

Nice to see more OC posted by the artists :).

Staying a virgin is easy. Just develop a shitty personality or maybe even a personality disorder like I did and viola, you are now a forever virgin.

However, living as a virgin is much more difficult. Between self-loathing and depression, you could turn suicidal. Again like I did.

TheRealLinga,

Sorry to hear man, I hope you have found some way to move on and enjoy life

fckreddit,

At this point, the best I can do is hope. I am lost. Thanks though.

As others have mentioned, there's online-go.com for similar to lichess.org.

On Android there's Gobandroid, but it requires this for play against AI: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.ligi.gobandroidhd.ai.gnugo/

On desktop there's Sabaki:
https://sabaki.yichuanshen.de/

Haven't tried Sabaki yet, as I was using GoGUI running off GNU Go for a long time, but it's no longer in development.

cashews_best_nut,

Also GNUGo on Linux.

aoidenpa, in Someone talk to me about Go (the board game). I'm in the process of learning it right now.

I used to play a lot in college. KGS was very popular and fun to hang around. Hikaru no Go anime is really good. Also there is a documentary about Lee Sedol vs Alphago games. Check them out. It’s best to play in person so check out local clubs and tournaments. r/baduk subreddit is fairly active.

  • V0lD,

Yes it does, his Dracula dad being random other things is the central premise of this series

  • sundray,

The central premise behind the comic strip is that Dracula, notorious, bloodthirsty villain of novel, film and legend, scourge of Transylvania, evil incarnate, servant of Satan, is also, in fact, someone’s embarrassing, dad-joke loving father, who uses his incredible powers to entertain his son, who is often unimpressed with the results. The point being, it doesn’t matter who you dad is, they are probably a little uncool – even if they happen to be Dracula.

You may not find it funny. Many don’t, and that’s okay. You can’t be “wrong” about not liking something.

    But it’s not pointless.

    Viking_Hippie,

They’re like packaging peanuts, but with salt.

    MycelialMass,

With millions of packs made do you know how much theyd save omitting those redundant letters??

Wrong vehicle for around here. Around here it’s the largest, ugliest, noisiest truck you can possibly get. If it is extra-polluting, that’s a bonus.

We also used to have a guy in my neighborhood who would sit in his driveway and just rev his Harley for like an hour and a half. He could get away with it because we’re outside city limits, so there are no noise ordinances. Thankfully, he no longer lives around here.

I’ve got a 13 year old probook 5330m. It’s running Lubuntu, with no working battery these days, but it’s fine other than that.

    haui_lemmy,

Same here. My old graphics chip wouldnt boot with anything else (I could have searched for the driver somewhere) except lxqt. Thats why I chose lubuntu.

    Vex_Detrause,

First time hearing lubuntu! Thanks for mentioning it. I’ll try this on my old laptop.

    haui_lemmy,

It is pretty awesome for old hardware imo. I tried 5 or six other major distros and nothing worked, inclusing mint, ubuntu, debian (I think) and so on.

Thcdenton, in [Alzwards Corner] Nature is Amazing

    That’s a redback

I get second hand cringe too! It’s awful!! So many times I wish I had spoken up on someone else’s behalf…

    naticus,

That’s what makes it hard for me to watch shows with too much purposeful cringe, I just feel way too embarrassed for the people involved. The Office UK was nearly impossible for me. Even The Office US season 1 was almost beyond my limit, but luckily they fixed the formula by season 2.
