Why am I 35 already?

Please stop.

I remember 35. That’s exactly when I started feeling like I was actually in my 30s. Let me tell you, it just keeps going like that, and you’ll only realise how young you are years and years from now. Rinse and repeat.

BudgetBandit,

Close to 30, stopped aging at 22

TheSanSabaSongbird,

I’m in my 50s, but in my head I’m still 36.

Asafum,

Listen to John Mayers “Stop this train” and cry lol

“So I play the numbers game to find a way to say that life has just begun.”

BilboBargains, in Aberdeen

I would imagine a Norwegian city is bestowed that dubious honour?

Wow. This format is actually put to good use here.

hungryphrog, in Birds are great

“BananaQuit” sounds like a randomised username in some online game.

Catsrules,

I am a little disappointed that your user name wasn’t Bananaquit. That would have been epic.

TheSanSabaSongbird,

There’s a blast from the past. I used Telnet as an undergrad back in the 90s.

Fuck_u_spez_, (edited )

The Lemmy client I’m using thinks your account is -420 years old

Edit: And somehow I managed to take the screenshot at 4:20 AND I’m not even high. Yet.

FlihpFlorp,

Maybe it’s a lemmy thing cus on Avelon it says “Joined now ago”

AVincentInSpace, (edited )

Jerboa user here and uhh

Joined 4 centuries ago

Jerboa, I simply do not think that is true

tgxn,
@tgxn@lemmy.tgxn.net avatar

Wow that’s an odd bug! I’d report it to whatever client you’re using - my account creation date is set to the year 2443.

emptiestplace,

Doesn’t seem like a bug then, does it…

I use Voyager too, was going to comment the same xD

Maybe it’s intentional, 420 years:

Yeah, it’s very intentional, I’m from 420 years in the future. 🤣

AVincentInSpace,

Is there a single Lemmy client this doesn’t break? Jerboa lists your account creation date as “4 centuries ago”. Guess it can’t handle negative time deltas

davsf, in Birds are great

Dont for get that bird watchers talk about jizz.

the overall impression or appearance of a bird garnered from such features as shape, posture, flying style or other habitual movements, size and colouration combined with voice, habitat and location.

jabrd, in North America before illegal immigration

Reject national identities, return to soft border cultural cliques

Nacktmull, (edited )

Yeah! Fuck nations, it´s just a social construct anyway.
