Me2 but I would call it more than loosely. Just enough to sorta spoil a better done production that had more fidelity.

How do y'all deal with programs not supported on Linux?

I’ve been seeing all these posts about Linux lately, and looking at them, I can honestly see the appeal. I’d love having so much autonomy over the OS I use, and customize it however I like, even having so many options to choose from when it comes to distros. The only thing holding me back, however, is incompatibility issues....

Ill do my usual name drop of zorin os linux distro. its maine thing is windows compatibility and comes with play on linux and wine preinstalled and setup. Also comes with many linux applications installed out of box. I think its the best shot for an easy move over but if it does not work that does not mean it can't be done but its gonna be a bit of work more than likely.

hate in a strong word and sometimes its meaning is situational. Certainly I have a long list of corporations I hate and google is fairly down the list. Still I wish very much that they could be better and im always looking for alternatives.

In one of those situations only someone in a long term relationship can understand my wife was upset as I was not worried that she may be dead when I wake up. Please don't ask me to explain these kinds of things. The main point is I was saying I was worried about her when she is off driving someplace as that is the most dangerous period of time.

Yeah. The other thing is though that if you have a cell phone you are allowing all sorts of companies and maybe governments track you all over the place, but there is an issue with family? Sure they don't really care so maybe thats a thing but they don't care till they do which is really wierd. It feels sorta adult to recognize the tracking that is happening and not seeing it as a big deal for the right reasons family wise. Take the opposite. Elderly parents being tracked by adult children. It would be interesting if parents started allowing their children to track them at some age.

I think the idea that this is a negative but to me it is not. If a domain or magazine is run poorly then folks then I don't want to go to it. I just want the individual ability to block at all levels working well and would love it both ways. I learned my lesson from mmo's. A completely horrible cesspit of a chat can become pretty decent with just a dozen or so blocks. People who block everyone on a whim. Well thats great as I doubt their discourse is going to be beneficial. folks that don't ban even though someones pushing the line will be rewareded with a richer experience.

what we need with ubi is a progressive tax structure that is across all forms of income equally. In the us the top rate is just above 6 figures and never goes higher and if its from investments it gets taxed in a different system designed for no taxes to be paid (same with corporate)

Be honest, do you still use reddit?

I used to check the front page at least once every day, and occassionally check specific subreddits. Now I don’t look at reddit unless theres some drama, like mods getting purged, then I’d go there and enjoy the drama. Occasionally there will be questions that only reddit has the answer to so I have to reluctantly use it. I...

Im not wild about this because to often I see folks use something like it to imply something we face now is no big deal due to a false analogy. Like covid with spanish flu. I.E. - I don't need to mask or vaccinate because we got through the spanish flu. Not taking into account its not as bad because of vaccines but without them it is actually a worse disease and that pictures clearly show folks used masks for the spanish flu. Its not just that but with climate change implying it just seems like the end like the cold war but they are completely different issues with different possibilities for solutions.

Oh I find this one to be bs. There are incredible things in this world that could have been meh or horrible and that changes the meaning in both quality and quantity. For example when lincoln made the continued subjugation proclamation.

This! Further where I am at its not limited to like your closest courthouse or closest three or even like closest plus the big downtown one. To boot some are in pretty dangerous neighborhoods.
