You probably like what I’ve heard called Napoli style. That’s a normal crust that’s not super thin but also not super thick. It is supposedly the traditional style. But this is from American places so IDFK 🤷🏻‍♂️

I miss Quiznos.

I don’t know if they are completely out of business, but they sure as shit don’t operate anywhere within 100 miles of where I live anymore.

Their ribeye steakhouse sub was the best fucking thing ever.

Literally the only chain I would recommend. Everything else I love is mom&pop local dives and taco trucks.

I fuckin’ hated it and even the idea when it was new. I liked updates and being able to download my games (even though I just had dial-up at the time; it was slow, but at least I could get any game and not just what was available at the local EB). I didn’t like the idea of not having it stored off-site, though. I didn’t like the interface or having to run an extra thing. I especially didn’t like not being able to use the online gaming services I had been using for years because they shut down WON.

But now I would be lost without it.

You can with Family Sharing. It also can be done a bit easier with some games that are otherwise DRM free by just running the executable from its install directory instead of through steam. Like Kerbal Space Program.

The latter method will even sometimes allow you to play the same game on two machines over the internet. I don’t know if you can do that with Family Share.

Have you ever had a hyper realistic dream that you still remember after years?

I had a dream I was on a plane. A totally normal flight. Going in for a landing when things went wrong at the last minute. I swear I could feel the heat of the flames as I saw them coming through the fuselage as the plane is breaking up around me. I woke up on my feet beside my bed sweating. I’ve never had a dream like that...

Two! Both when I was between 10 and 13 or so.

The first I had walked down the street to my friend’s house, knocked on the door, his mom answered and I woke myself up because I spoke out loud “can Shane come out to play?” The sound of my own voice woke me up because I was talking in my sleep.

The second was more or less the same. I left my house intending to go down to Shane’s house, but I tripped off the curb and woke up.

I’ve also had a recurring dream since I was a child that I would wake up in the middle of the night, fall out of bed and instead of simply hitting the floor I fell miles and miles through dirt and rock until I landed in a weird prison carved into dirt. I would be deposited into a dark hallway I couldn’t see the end to in any direction, an along one side of the wall were jail doors of cells. I could hear moaning and screaming and felt intense fear. But I would always wake up there and never “explore.” Not really realistic, but I still sometimes visit this dream prison and it still creeps me the fuck out cuz I don’t know what it means or why it’s always the same except for the place my bed may be.

I have two younger siblings.

My brother is like my total opposite. We get along but don’t really go out of our way to hang out or chat.

My sister is basically like me, but weirder. We get along great and hang out all the time. And not just because we live together.

I wouldn’t want to live in the Dragonball Z world.

Every time they fight the villain and destroy the world then use the dragon balls to wish everyone back to life would infuriate me to no end when they could have just wished the bad guy to stop existing/never existed/wasn’t fucking evil and not have anyone die in the first place.

I guess it didn’t necessarily save my life, but I decided not to go to a party where the host was shot in the head by some random gang bangers who showed up. Victim was a friend of mine and invited me. I didn’t feel like going out tho. He didn’t even die. But he wasn’t really the same person after that.

I had cats all my life. I was born into a home with cats. There has never not been a cat living with me.

That said, I finally got dogs a few years ago and they are so much better at being your buddy than cats.

I still love cats, but dogs are so vastly different they don’t even compare. Having dogs is, I think, as close to having children as you can get without having kids. They act like toddlers, but they also learn, have unique personalities, show their affection more like a human, and are loyal as fuck.

The phrase “a dog is a man’s best friend” isn’t bullshittin’.

I just browse by All and sort by New Comments. I get a diverse feed of topics, some I may not even be aware of, all with active discussion due to any new comment or reply pushing them to the top.
