Getting the app through an official app store at least gives the company some liability, versus random web pages that don't have signed code.

As an IT professional with over two decades of experience I can say this meme is wholly inaccurate.

The first thing you try when you have computer problems is to turn it off and on again.

Then if it's still broken, install a PDF reader.

Heat pumps only last about 15 years so yours may be noisier due to wear and age. I just had a really old one replaced and my new one is a lot quieter.

You might be able to reduce the noise with some fencing or plants. Some bushes, placed where they won't disrupt airflow, will definitely reduce the noise.

In the 31st century: The Borg have taken over the galaxy, and have discovered wormhole technology that allows them to traverse universes.

A rogue Starfleet captain steals a museum piece and flees through a wormhole, only to encounter a smuggler and his hairy companion. They manage to cripple the Cube that opened the wormhole, but at a cost.

Their ships crippled, they must learn to work together to warn the New Republic of the Borg threat.
