My personal idea is that they are objects created both to flex metalworking craftsman skill and in worship of sacred geometry. Ancient peoples ascribed divinity to the harmonies of the universe, especially the harmonies in mathematics like geometry. The fancier looking platonic solids like dodecahedron and icosohedron have almost magical levels of symmetry built in to them making them both aesthetically pleasing complex shapes. The fact they even exist inspires philosophical and even spiritual thoughts. As far as I understand romans had some very impressive archetecture incorporating mathematical ratios almost constantly, archetects and metal workers may very well have needed to worship geometry as a divine aspect in order to achieve such neurotic levels of mathematics in their aesthetic.
Its part of the lemmy meta-game at this point is to take a joke super seriously and go on a psudo-intellectual rant about how the contents of the joke are the sum of everything wrong with humanity. Everyone needs their 5 minutes on the high horse

The older I get, the more I believe that life is really about enjoyment, not longevity. We are here to have fun and burn brightly, not live to be 120 years old and hate 50 years of it. Whats the point of busting loads against the wall for decades and doing nothing but surviving?
I can find it relaxing at times but I dont drive to drive more than maybe once or twice a year if that. Its bad for the environment (unless you have an all electric vehicle powered by renewable energy I can dig that) and a selfish waste of precious non renewable resources.
Being on the road is also an inherent danger as accidents happen anytime anywhere, though life is also about taking a fucking chance to do what you want risk be damned so if ypu enjoy driving its worth the risk I guess.
I’d rather get on my legs and walk around a nice forest/park than drive around but that’s just me.
None, they are all metal boxes that get me from point a to b. I accepted a long time ago im just not a car guy, i dont even reserve the neurons to differentiate make/model/year at a glance. Forming emotional attachments over hunks of metal/ machinery that all operate generally the same way is a very monkey-brain thing to do. He smugly says as he nervously eyes his book collection he would actually tear up over if they were damaged in any way.
Nickelodeon gave Fred their own TV show+movie and YouTube bankrolled some popular creators to make a few YouTube red originals, that’s about as far as I can think of
