I’m just your average Canadian wolf. I’m a siren enthusiast and railfan as my main hobbies. I run the Civil Defense Sirens Wiki, and am working on restoring a few vintage sirens (such as a FS&S Model L and a rare Sterling Siren MOD. F) as well as a 1970s Safetran mechanical crossing bell.

Many A True Nerd has always made consistently great Fallout content, and he’s only gotten better over the years. Been watching him since 2014.

There was this old game called Twistingo that my grandma had on her computer. Made by a long defunct company called eGames, it was basically like if Zuma and Bingo had a child. There were balls with numbers that’d slowly advance down a track, and you had one or more bingo cards. If the ball had a matching number on your card, you’d click on the number and the ball would vanish. If the balls reached the end, you lost. Really fun game, I still have the old disc for it.

If you look at the number of comments Lemmy says there are, versus the number of comments visible, the difference is how many people from blocked instances there are.

I’ve seen one post where it said there were 51 comments, but none would appear for me. That’s because all of the comments were from instances blocked or defederated by my instance.

Faygo pineapple or cotton candy flavour. Yes, that exists.

Exactly. It’s a language learning and text output machine. It doesn’t know anything, its only ability is to output realistic sounding sentences based on input, and will happily and confidently spout misinformation as if it is fact because it can’t know what is or isn’t correct.

It’s almost cultlike, very unsettling.

Duping the Arena Issi was the only reason I could ever enjoy the game. The grind was absolutely ridiculous. Once my character got wiped during the glitch where you could sell the cheapest property for the price of the most expensive one, I quit permanently. I’m not spending hours and hours and hours of grinding just to afford a single car.

Bigotry, when it’s actually bigotry, is reasonable to be offended by. This ain’t it.

Always somebody looking for any excuse to be offended… and they call us snowflakes.

Felix Cartel completely ruined You Get What You Give. Let’s turn an upbeat, happy song full of energy into the most basic, boring, sleep-inducing track possible, where even the singer sounds bored and is half-singing. Plus the annoying repeated vocals typical of creatively bankrupt music.

They didn’t threaten to kick Courtney Love or Marilyn Manson’s asses in. Jokes aside, fucking awful cover.

Out of everything out there, aircraft are NOT something to skimp and take shortcuts on. These fucks don’t care if we die on their aircraft if it means making shareholders a bit more money. God, I can’t wait for this system to fall apart.

The whole neighbourhood of Sanctuary isn’t safe from my character’s hands. Every house, tree, twig, car, must be reduced to parts.

Plus, fire requires oxygen. Their flames are useless if an airbender can just remove the oxygen from the air or suffocate the fire entirely.
