Tribalism is a reault of conservative values no matter how ethically good the cause or what those values may be. Not adapting to what’s socially going on, or doing things like responding to an oppressing tribe by using the same tactics of that tribe just creates discord. One need simply compare MLK to the Panthers. Same cause at the core, but entirely different values and ideology. And of course, tribalism is rife when there’s in-fighting of those that are ultimately wanting the same core outcome because it’s deteriorated to camp vs camp.
Lastly and most importantly, it gives bad reputation to the core idea and creates social opportunity to instill doubt with fallacy…

Depending on the public restrooms, I tend to wash my hands before touching things downstairs. I shower and I launder; I don’t use my junk to touch everything through the day like I do my hands. As far as I’m concerned, downstairs is one of the cleanest parts of my body and I like to keep it that way, so washing hands after the fact is a near redundant action for my personal hygiene and a social courtesy for others’.
Fat’s really good at hiding features, so also people’s best features. Have had a few friends work hard to drop weight and my god there was some good looking people hidden under there.

I’ve always found them the most scary. If someone has mastered one, able to control and time the weight, opening up opportunities for blows, you’re fucked. A light blow with a blade or spear, you’re taking shallow damage and can scamper back. But with a mace? You’re off-balance now or quite stunned and that’s exactly what leads to the skull being crushed in a second later.
So, sure they’re slower and harder to land, but patiently, just one good hit and it’s game very quickly and violently over. Not to mention, the wielder doesn’t have to worry about their weapon being stuck in the dead guy.

It’s hard to participate when most people only have an A/B, us/them, left/right, right/wrong mentality view on things when it’s obviously more complex when viewed from a few steps back. Became mates with the local postman because I was always home for domestic deliveries and just taught the house to “suffere” the extra day for postage instead of +$3 for faster international shipping since it was going to be guaranteed and ultimately faster. PLUS it gave out local post man a chance to chat with me and give the dog pats and a treat.
When I worked at Apple, much of the repairing wasn’t modular. Simply device replacement at a high fixed cost. They’d then cannibalize the surrendered devices for parts or repair them cheap, then make them replacement devices for the next person to come in. It made huge money.
