I’ve heard of things like iPostal and Traveling Mailbox. Do these services allow you to register with bank, DMV, IRS, Voting, etc? How do they work? Would a normal P.O box using its physical address from USPS work? I’ve tried researching it and haven’t gotten clear answers....
Do you have an address? Or are you moving around? A PO box is good for people who don’t stay in one place very long, but want to receive mail. Whether you can use that at the bank, the dmv, the IRS, or voting depends entirely upon which state you live in.
Do you often find yourself daydreaming of a life you never lived? Do you sometimes wonder if your accomplishments will be remembered? Are you able to pass through solid objects like doors or other people? Do you occasionally feel light headed or sleepy for no reason?
Ok but then going back to study and learn would probably include a policy of non-intervention. So how would you know we aren’t constantly surrounded by time travelers blending in?
That’s kind of the entire conversation we’re having. If time travel exists, then why hasn’t the past been improved, led to is it even possible to improve on the past, led to would time travelers be able to change anything, led to how would we know if time travel exists. Is it important? Only if you want to answer any of the questions we’ve asked. What would we anticipate they do? That’s all of the questions we’ve asked.
And I’m saying that it’s not possible under any understanding of time travel or causality to perfect history for the best possible future outcome, because doing so would negate the necessity for time travel. Unless you want to argue that this is why time travel doesn’t exist, because the past is already a perfect state to never necessitate time travel. But that’s the only objective measure of “perfection” that is internally consistent, and I think we would both agree that from our perspective, the past is far from perfect.
Mmmm political left and right don’t align strictly on a union-supporting axis. Even left and right don’t really mean much anymore, because the Conservative party isn’t anchored to a specific set of ideologies the was Progressives are. A conservative will support a union when the union helps rhe conservative, will oppose the union when the union hurts the conservative, and will demonize the union when it helps them get elected by lathering up their base of voters.
Progressives support labor rights, equitable pay, and regulations that protect the safety and liberty of the worker. Progressives will support those ideals even when it does not help them directly.
Many people associate Communists and Socialists with the “left” and Libertarians and Free Market Capitalists with the “right”. But there are conservative communists and progressive capitalists.
EDIT: Let’s cool it with the downvotes, dudes. We’re not out to cut funding to your black hole detection chamber or revoke the degrees of chiropractors just because a couple of us don’t believe in it, okay? Chill out, participate with the prompt and continue with having a nice day. I’m sure almost everybody has something...
I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds
The TOS are the legal equivalent of a locked car door. It’s the bare minimum prevention against a lawsuit, but really doesn’t protect anything. It’s because they are so long and opaque that they are often unenforceable.
They might do it outside of a photo op, but beer with a head photographs better. Plus, imagine the optics. “Greedy, drunken politicians throw a hissy fit over a scant pour during a photo op.”
How Do I Avoid Giving Home Address to Bank?

Stew will be made with Muscovy duck drake meat specifically. The meat very lean and will taste a bit gamey.
