I checked r/worldnews a few days ago and the comment is absolutely flooded with pro-israel and mainly support the disproportionate respond. Any anti-israel comment will either downvoted to hell or removed. I thought astro-turfing, but then i guess you don’t really need to get paid to defend something unethical.
Or maybe they’re israeli, there’s a lot of israeli enjoying the slaughter and even called it “Pallywood”, the term coined by conspiracy theorist in early 2000, arguing the Palestinian has been faking their death.
So we were all gonna have a good time and get drunk but now all the money’s gone into the VLTs so there’s no drinkin or gettin drunk or nothing is … how she goes, apparently
Not sure if you’re making a clever joke, or if you don’t know that brutalism is defined by using steel and concrete in large blocks. Might be a mega “woosh” on my part though haha
By far and away calling my friend’s mom retarded when I was a stupid little kid. He was on speaker. If I could pinpoint the exact moment where my life started going off-track, it was then and there. But boy was I upset that his mom wouldn’t let him play guild wars.
I’m sure she’s forgotten it, and he probably has too, but the moment replays in my head at least once a month.
At least it was a learning experience. Now I never say anything about anyone that I’m not willing to say to their face.
When I was around 10 I was invited to hang out to my uncle’s bosses bbq party along with my cousins and the guy’s children where talking about going karting and then the guy says “What would they think if we told them you were under 16 haha” and I just blurted out “they would probably think she’s a mutant”.
Idk man I was 10 she looked grown up to me but I’m sure I gave that girl identity issues
18 Years have gone by and I still have flashbacks to that moment
Taking a chemistry class? ptable.com is the best Periodic Table site by far, packed with info and ways to visualize the relationships between elements.
Interested in what class doesn’t teach you about the elements? Theodore Gray’s Wooden Periodic Table Table website has a ton of very high resolution shots of the best samples you’ll find, along with detailed backstory on where each one came from or how it was used.
Depends on your lifestyle ofc but a cheap 6’ tape measurer keychain has come in clutch more times than I can count. Within the past week I’ve used it to
measure the hatch of my car to see if a box could fit
compared a 14" pizza to a 17" to my friend group to figure what size pizza to buy
measured an entire house worth of soffit
The thing was like $5 and honestly gets more use out of anything in my EDC except maybe my earbuds and even then I barely touch them since graduating from uni
Funny, I was just watching some lockdown-era Tested videos and was wondering what that tattoo was on Adam’s arm. Reminds me of my mechanic friends with a 10mm socket tattooed so that “they’ll never lose it”
I keep several full size 30' tape measures in different places like my truck, kitchen junk drawer and (of course) toolboxes. You might find that more useful than a 6'. Cheap ones are fine, I think, as long as you don't drop them.
The appeal is to have it fit on your keychain/ in your pocket so that you’ve always got it rather than having to run back to the car or wherever one might be
Thank you, now I know what tattoo to get if I pass by a walk in place. I’m always tempted but the things I want aren’t exactly walk in tattoos. Only question now is to go halfway up my forearm or to my elbow. Guess I could go all the way down my index finger, too, but I’m not sure how long a tattoo on the side of the finger would last, plus all the possible bends when including the hand could reduce measurement accuracy by quite a bit.
Your link is the other way around, you should put the text between [ ] and the link between ( ), i.e. text, the way you did it the text that appears is the url but when you click it it tries to go to literally the address url.
Constantly moving targets don’t help. CSS, HTML, and JavaScript add new features way too quickly. Between supporting new shiny stuff and crusty old stuff there’s so much bloat to keep up with. It’s taking huge efforts to design and tune these rendering engines, so there are only a handful of efforts now backed by major players (Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Mozilla). Even Microsoft threw in the towel on their own engine and started using Google’s Chrome because it was cheaper and easier.
Not for the MacBook, it’s soldered in. So he will have to upgrade the whole thing. The M1 is one of the best laptops I’ve used (for work), but you have to choose the right specs at the beginning, otherwise you will be in a pickle.
It’s more than soldered in—it’s in the actual processor. It’s why you can’t desolder the RAM and replace it, even if you were that talented. It’s the downside to SOC. I hope that the new RAM technology called CAMM works out and becomes popular enough to fix the SOC trend.
True on Framework (add more later), not on MacBook Air. But even though my main machine now has 64GB, I found my first-gen MacBook Air (2020) was great with 16GB. However, depends what you need to throw at it.
