It was pretty cool to hear that late night psychosis was a real thing that everyone deals with. Stay up too late and you start becoming REALLY mentally unstable. I have that (and the three times I went absolutely shitfaced) to thank for all my life decisions up to this point, including this one.
I feel like it must vary. Because I’ve stayed up late and found myself quivering against a wall hearing things, and other times pulled all-nighters without issue. I guess for the latter I was busy doing things rather than just fretting.
That’s curious. I actually feel more and more lucid starting around noon or whenever the sun starts setting, and into the night. The person in the mirror starts to actually look decent, I feel more free and happy, etc.
Can’t go to sunrise if it can be helped. For some reason it’s just a punch in the face to me. I probably have issues with responsibilities or something.
We are all weird creatures for sure though even just based on the comments in this post.
I have been up and down a few posts concerning this and have yet to find (maybe i missed a couple) anyone who has tried this and reported back.
I am beginning to think that this was just some housewives joke on the internet.
“You know what, this should really rattle some budgies if i just say i add a few raisins. oooo I am such a devil” and little did she know just how well it worked.
On a basis of raisins and cheese whiz being good, I think it might have a little bit of charm.
I’ve made water cereal, but it started as an accident, which I then had to live with because there was no more cereal left. I’ve also switched milk and orange juice, which I tried, but did not continue on with.
Do you ever call it a peach-a? Because you better.
I would worry that peach slices that big would get too watery. I think that pineapple, tomato slices and peppers only work when they’re small enough that they don’t make a little moisture pocket around them.
People who agree with 2 don’t realize that they were those kids too and think that somehow there are kids somewhere that behave nicely because of perfect parenting.
Nope, most likely you just got to witness those kids on a bad day.
I hate how everyone worships dogs. Most dogs I’ve met are annoying as fuck, they bark constantly, shit everywhere and jump on you. I fully understand that this is a dog owner problem and not the dogs fault. But why are dogs so special?
Kids are similar, they are annoying, dirty, loud, ungrateful, etc… Again, this is usually due to bad parenting but they don’t seem to get the free pass dogs do.
Most dog owners and parents should not be dog owners or parents.
Edit’: The replies I’m getting to this comment are proving my point. You all care so much about dogs that you automatically assume anyone who doesn’t train them properly is an asshole. Maybe the problem is the fact that having a dog and barely training or caring for them is considered socially acceptable. Most people are not ready to take the time required to properly train a dog. We should be discouraging these people from getting one. Instead everyone just fucking goes on and on about how great dogs are. No shit everyone wants one…
All, I’m doing is pointing out the perspective and suggesting OP actually do some introspection on their stance with the understanding they may be wrong.
I don’t understand how my personal experience can be wrong. I simply said “most dogs I’ve met”. This includes neighbours dogs, dogs I’ve come across on the street, acquaintances, friends, family. At a certain point, the argument that everyone I know is an asshole falls apart, cause I’m not only talking about people I know personally.
It’s a societal issue where dogs are seen as doing no wrong and everyone is encouraged to get one. But most people shouldn’t even have one. I’m starting to think that all these triggered people in the comments are shitty dog owners. What other reason would there be to react so harshly to my personal opinion/experience.
Bro what. Assholes who don’t train their dogs sounds exactly like what is causing your complaints. How is this a stretch?
As for the kids thing, I don’t want them personally either. But it’s not like every kid I’ve ever met annoys me or pisses me off. That also comes down to how they’re raised
Tell me you don’t have a dog or a kid without telling me you don’t have a dog or a kid.
I have both, 3 years ago I had neither. I get where you’re coming from, but it’s a bit ignorant to assume (dog)parents wouldn’t put that dog/kid on a pedestal. It’s what they live for.
I have kids. I do everything in my power to make sure they don’t turn out like I described. It’s a lot of fucking work and most people aren’t willing to do it. My spouse works in a daycare. Parents these days do not parent. They just want to be labeled as one.
Parents these days aren’t any different, not really. Having kids is the default life path for most people, so of course a good percentage are gonna suck at it.
The problem is that humans bred the brains right out of them. A dog can learn words and a few tricks but will still bark angrily at a leaf and eat it’s own shit.
I love dogs as long as they’re someone else’s …but there are very few I have met who were well-behaved.
