I actually had an idea to make a productivity app that would limit this kind of addictive behavior.

It’d just interrupt and say “hey homie you’ve opened this app like x times in y minutes. Chill”

And give an option to ignore the ingeruotion for z minutesz in case you’re switching for a good reason.

I guess what I mean is if you asked them with regard to the etymology… Ratchet is a word. It has a meaning highly disparate from “shitty.” Like, it’s a tool. A noun. It does things.

So kids using this word against its actual meaning, ask them why and they won’t understand.

Like if I asked you why you were using the word ratchet (say yesterday), which is a tool that helps turn bolts, in place of the word “shitty” and you’d be all 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

For something like trying to turn 300k into 25T on Bitcoin, yes, absolutely.

You could 100% become a trillionaire without significantly affecting market positions, though, even with just general knowledge and ~50 $100-$10,000 investments.

Compounding interest is a hell of a drug.

I think my dad would start listening to his god-omen stock predicting son after a few missed billions.

I mostly use GitHub through vscode’s terminal. They’ve got plenty of extensions/plugins for git/github
