nxdefiant,

I think it was the first truly disappointing ending for a trek show, and that kinda sours the whole thing a bit.

nxdefiant,

I can’t speculate as to what Abbot wants, but he’s definitely asking for an armed confrontation with the U.S. Military, and as a Texan, I think Biden should give only Abbot exactly that.

nxdefiant,

No need to wait for the next day, you can eat the night of!

nxdefiant,

Exactly, it was an incredulity buffer overflow, they went all the way around back to credible.

It’s technically up cycling but like, yikes. For the cost of a handle of Jim beam and a shit load of wax, you could probably just buy a bunch of candles instead, so the end goal here seems to be to showcase alcohol brands?! Is this like when people fill their house with Coke or Mickey Mouse stuff?

I suppose I’m just as confused as you are. It would make sense to me if they washed the labels off; some of the bottles are visually interesting enough to warrant making showpieces out of.

nxdefiant,

Did you leave the labels on?

nxdefiant, (edited )

Ok I wasn’t sold on the idea, but considering the bottle actually says KRAKEN, that actually makes some sense. Excellent mogwai placement btw 😆

(Also, that is some good rum, excellent choice)

I’ve run Linux on the T410, T520, P50, P51, X1g2, X1g5, X1 Yoga, and p16s, all when those laptops were new. Sometimes the wifi was hard to configure, or the fingerprint scanner didn’t work, or the wwan card wasn’t supported, or the power states where fucky and drained the battery, but that was in it’s way all part of the fun.

It’s definitely gotten easier over time to run Linux on new hardware and I’ll pick a Thinkpad for the job every time. I use a modern Thinkpad with linux for work every day.

nxdefiant,

Everyone knows both world wars were won by a single anthropomorphic 1911 pistol.

nxdefiant,

Salad bars would be a lot less common.

The “I was putting fascists in the dirt since before my first training bra” panel alone is solid gold pressed latinum.

    nxdefiant,

Don’t forget the Disney that sent a Terminator after Owl House.

    nxdefiant,

Folding is stone age tech. We need a wrinkle-free laundry compressor/decompressor.

    nxdefiant,

Green lantern rings are willpower right? I’d give it to Vegeta with a green lantern ring vs hulk with a red one.

    nxdefiant,

Yeah, that couch can absolutely be a bed, and I bet the other side folds out into a toilet. Entire back area is probably a sonic shower.

I consider The Orville a show that is filmed inside the Trek Universe for people in the federation to watch for fun.

    nxdefiant,

Hey he directed it, he didn’t write it.

    nxdefiant,

Sisko went from unsure to sure real quick. Ex freedom fighter gunslinger lady was day dreaming.

    nxdefiant,

I felt the need to inform you that I’ve been making these since you posted this, and I made a bunch at Christmas for the fam (called them Grinches) and they were a huge hit. Thanks a ton fellow Trekkie!

Annotations for *Star Trek: Lower Decks* 4x09: “The Inner Fight” (SPOILERS)

The title is a play on the TNG episode “The Inner Light”, where Picard is hit by a beam from a Kataan probe that makes him live out a lifetime of memories in the space of less than an hour. A similar probe last appeared in LD: “In the Cradle of Vexilon”....

    nxdefiant,

I am now quite suspicious of why the mystery ship resembles the Delta Flyer.
