Moving shit around is awful on the PS5. I’ll just keep my 25 rows of garbage on Tav. Unless I’m playing a Str character, then it’s more like 50 rows. Finding shit you know you have is also awful.
I’ve yet to ever turn in Dribbles because by the time I find all his pieces, I’ve lost one. Hope the reward is garbage.
Lost the plans to the crossbow, but there’s a good chance I sold them because they look like every other scrap of paper I grab to sell. Which reminds me I’m probably still carrying around the other parts. It’s honestly a minor miracle I can complete the gauntlet of Shar.
Edit: I checked. Reward for Dribbles is indeed garbage.
At the Gondian factory. Pick up the plans and two parts, find the table, done. But I made two trips instead of finishing it in one and lost the plans between. Then I also managed to leave the orphic hammer behind and thus ended my honor run because I selected the wrong dialog option.
Thought I had it, but it was on a character I’d swapped out.
I’m at the goblin camp in my playthrough but I had to go run an errand. I’ll update here once I down Min, Ragz, and Gut. Glad I didn’t go to the cave first which is my usual go-to.
Edit: Nothing different that I noticed with the three goblin bosses. They all went down pretty quick. Minthara did down two of my guys though which had me sweating.
In my epilogue I had Lae’zel and her mission to talk to with the big important Githzerai guy whose name I cannot remember or pronounce, Gale inviting you to his magic school to talk with his students, Karlach and Wyll going to fix her engine and me trying my best to resist the urge to devour the brains of my fellow companions as a mind flayer (that one was a big surprise when it happened!). With how many possible permutations to the ending there are, I think the most realistic one for a DLC is the straightforward Karlach + Wyll (and possibly you) going to fix her engine, at least that one only has like 4 possible outcomes from what I recall (who goes with Karlach, and if Tav is a mind flayer or not).
Yeah, some sort of Karlach+Wyll DLC for seems the most obvious to me from what I’ve read.
Going to Gale’s magic school could be fun too, either as its own DLC or as a little side thing in another one. I’m sure a school full of Wizards could cause some problems that my character could be called in to help solve.
What prompted me to make this thread was Lae’zel talking about having gained a foothold in the Astral Plane and fighting against Vlaakith. Could be a lot of fun to play and see the story with the Menyar-Ag-Gith she mentioned.
Probably to make maps require less verticality for the mechanics they wanted. It’d be pretty hard to manage a camera angle at larger discrepancies for the same function. Either that or to make ranged builds more viable with major verticality in maps
It's also possible in 5e for a raging barbarian to fall an indeterminate distance at free fall and never die from it. You could orbital shock drop a gang of bugbears onto your opponent's military encampment from literal space, and every one of them would stand up ready to fight as long as they started the fall with greater than 60 hit points.
In short, 5e rules for falling damage are pretty silly and it's best to ignore or re-rule those if you expect to use it in any sort of sensible situation.
