Padmé losing more and more of her clothes in AotC always reminds me of Sigourney Weaver going through the same in Galaxy Quest. I’m convinced GL was subtly referencing that.
Even “against his mom’s wishes” is a stretch. Sure, in a literal sense she didnt want her son to race, but acknowledged he could help them and ultimately let him do it.
Granted, I also don’t think she knew about Qui-Ron’s wager for him, but obviously was glad her son got to be free.

He didn't steal it. He took it to give to Spock's son, who Kirk took to be raised by Spock's family on the desert world of Vulcan for safekeeping ... High ground!
The guidelines seem to just be avoiding calling it that if there isn’t a specific reason too. I’ve got a friend named Osama; it’s the same deal. I also live in The Dominion of Canada.
I think for the Lego set it's more that the average casual fan is more likely to recognise the name 'Boba Fett' than the name 'Slave 1'. They're a commercial enterprise and they want to sell these things to a wide audience, and marketing it under a name that was never mentioned on-screen in the movies wouldn't exactly make that easier.
