You’re gonna have that talk anyway, so why don’t do it on your own terms. There’s still options to pursue your romantic aspirations with people, also are you really sure you’re not already sharing the child, given that you perceive the relationship as unromantic?
Yes, we are sharing… we just live together… with our son. The difference is, I can be with him whenever I want.
That talk has already been talked. We live together, that’s it. She doesn’t want me seeing anyone, so I don’t. I don’t wanna stir things up, it just leads to quarels, and I really don’t have the nerves for more of that… there has been enough of that, I’m trying to live in piece with my son.
I was just looking through the comments, and I came across this thread. I just wanted to say I’m sorry for what you’re going through. I hope you find peace and happiness.
I am at piece and happy. I get to live with my son without having to share him. That brings me more joy than a divorce and being free of her ever would.
I did actually try and divorce her. He was miserable… so was I. I asked her to get back together again. She knew the reason, but agreed anyway… maybe because she knew it was better that way, for the kid.
I think the loophole here is Spotify, because with all that knowledge, you are two or three relatively minor skill issues away from total musical mastery
I think it would be like drawing. If you don’t have aphantasia and have an epic image in mind, and basically only be able to put it down in stick figures.
In this case, you might know what strings to press and how hard to strum those strings. But you still need to get your fingers on those strings without tangling them and know how to pluck and strum them.
Timely! I was gifted into House Milwaukee this holiday season. I guess the sorting hat did it’s thing. Hope to learn a lot of useful wizardry, I’ve got a door frame to fix.
Just make sure whatever tool/battery combo you end up using still some sort of battery protection. Most brands have it in the tool but a few have it in the battery.
I did this in 2003. I designed a new server room for a company and had to transition their servers from the zero cable management abomination they previously had to my over engineered fishbowl. To get the servers off the racks I literally had to take garden shears and cut the cables. The pile was a few feet high and I sat on it like a throne because no sane person would pass on that opportunity.
